“Now in its 84th year, the UF Homecoming Parade is the largest student-run parade in the nation. UF and SFCC student organizations, Gainesville businesses, high school bands, local dance troupes, Florida politicians, and countless others are welcome to participate in the festivities. This year’s parade promises to be one of the best, so get there early to claim your spot along University Avenue. But if you can’t make it to Gainesville, don’t worry. You can be one of the 300,000 people to catch the live television broadcast aired throughout north and central Florida.
